The big day may have come and gone, but keep in touch as we’re always up to something new and exciting.

Shaw Heath Bees FC, founded in 2022, set out with a mission to be more than just a football club, we wanted to make a real difference in our community. With this vision in mind, we established the Bees Charity Cup, an annual fundraising football match that unites our passion for the sport with our commitment to giving back.
Now entering its fourth year the Bees Charity Cup has already made a significant impact. Through the dedication of our players, supporters, and the wider community, we've raised an incredible £3907 for our charities Andy’s Man Club and SANDS
We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see how much more we can achieve together. The Bees Charity Cup isn’t just a match... it’s a movement, and we’re proud to play our part in making a difference.
Join us for a morning of heart-pounding action and community spirit as we vie for victory in support of our chosen causes
We played at Macclesfield FC for the first two years, but last year headed to Gigg Lane, the home of Bury FC.
Where will next year's Bees Charity Cup take us?

The Man of the Match award will now be named in memory of Jimmy Bamgbose, the late father of our co-founder James. Jimmy sadly passed away just a day before the 2023/24 tournament. It was a devastating loss for James and his family, yet both he and his brother still showed up on the day, carrying an unthinkable weight with strength and quiet dignity. That moment has stayed with us all.
Jimmy may not have been directly involved in the Club, but the impact of his passing and the grace with which his sons carried on despite that devastating loss, left a lasting mark.
Naming this trophy after him is a way for us to remember, reflect, and honour not only a beloved father, but the resilience of family and the meaning of community.
Each time it’s lifted, the Jimmy Bamgbose Man of the Match Trophy will stand as a symbol of strength in the face of loss, and of the love that lives on through football.
Remembering Jimmy Bamgbose 💛💙
